MyLibrary App

You can now access your library account and the catalogue from your mobile device. The MyLibrary App is available from the App store or from Google Play (for androids). See this video for a quick introduction.

Artfilms Trial

DIT Library Services is pleased to announce that a trial for Artfilms has been set up and will run until December 31st 2018.
On and off-campus access is available. To access the resource on campus go to
www.artfilms-digital.com
If you are on-campus your access should authenticate automatically.

If you are off-campus:

and insert the username and password from the list available here (please note you will need your student ID and library pin to access this page).

Artfilms streams thousands of videos supporting the arts curriculum with content from top artists and producers specifically related to the creative arts.   Masterclasses, documentaries, interviews:  Content to entertain, educate and inform.

Please note that Artfilms does not allow downloading of the film for licensing reasons, instead all content can be streamed. Users will have access to over 1800 films with new titles added every month.

Mindmap for undergraduate students

Mindmaps are a very useful tool for example in mapping out a complex subject area for research.  If you wish to find out more about mindmaps there are books on mindmaps available through DIT Library.  The topic here is the value of mindmaps in facilitating student learning.
