Bloomsday Festival recitals: John Feeley and Fran O’Rourke with Joyce’s recently restored guitar.

John Feeley will be playing Joyce’s recently restored guitar in a series of lunchtime recitals which will take place from Monday, 11th June – Friday, 15th June in Newman House.

The guitar was restored by English luthier Gary Southwell, using the facilities of the conservation department of the National Museum at Collins Barracks in Dublin. The project was undertaken by the Joyce Tower Museum to which the guitar was donated in 1996 by Joyce’s friend Paul Ruggiero.

A free guided tour of Newman House will be available each day after the recital.
