Lost Vivaldi flute concerto found

A lost Vivaldi flute concerto has been discovered at the National Archives of Scotland. The manuscript was found among the papers of the Marquess of Lothian. The rediscovered concerto, called Il Gran Mogol, belonged to a quartet of concertos. The other pieces of the quartet remain lost. Il Gran Mogol will receive its modern day premiere in Perth, Scotland in January.
