The DIT Conservatory of Music & Drama is delighted to announce that the library of the Society for Musicology in Ireland is now available for consultation. The SMI’s library is housed in the library of the DIT Conservatory of Music & Drama Rathmines and was inaugurated earlier this year with the donation by Professor Barra Boydell of part of his personal collection of books, theses, scores and miniature scores. This collection is now available for reference, the contents of which can be seen here. All members of the Society for Musicology in Ireland are welcome to visit and consult the materials in both the SMI library and the DIT library.
